Description

The ALPK3 (alpha kinase 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 15.

ALPK3 plays a role in the differentiation of cardiomyocytes, the muscle cells that make up the heart. This has been observed in various studies (PubMed:26846950, PubMed:27106955, PubMed:28630369, PubMed:30046096).

ALPK3 is also known as CMH27, MAK, MIDORI.
