CFAP65
Description
CFAP65, or Cilia- and Flagella-Associated Protein 65, is a gene that encodes a protein essential for the proper assembly and function of cilia. Cilia are hair-like structures found on the surface of many cells, playing crucial roles in sensory perception, fluid movement, and cell signaling. Mutations in CFAP65 can disrupt cilia function, leading to a range of human diseases.
