Description

The DMGDH (dimethylglycine dehydrogenase) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 5.

DMGDH catalyzes the conversion of N,N-dimethylglycine to sarcosine by removing a methyl group. It can also process sarcosine in a laboratory setting.

DMGDH is also known as DMGDHD, ME2GLYDH.
