Description

The BCAS2 (BCAS2 pre-mRNA processing factor) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

BCAS2 is a gene that encodes the SPF27 protein, a crucial factor in pre-mRNA splicing. It is involved in the activation of the spliceosome, a complex responsible for removing introns from pre-mRNA molecules.
