BEND6

Description

The BEND6 (BEN domain containing 6) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

BEND6 acts as a corepressor of RBPJ, a protein involved in the Notch signaling pathway. This interaction inhibits Notch signaling in neural stem cells, preventing self-renewal and promoting the development of neurons.

BEND6 is also known as C6orf65.
