The BLID (BH3-like motif containing, cell death inducer) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

BLID, also known as Breast cancer cell protein 2, acts as a proapoptotic molecule, triggering cell death through the caspase-dependent mitochondrial pathway.

BLID is also known as BRCC2.
