CLVS1


Description

The CLVS1 (clavesin 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

CLVS1 is essential for the normal structure of late endosomes and lysosomes in neurons. It binds to phosphatidylinositol 3,5-bisphosphate (PtdIns(3,5)P2).

CLVS1 is also known as C6orf212L, CRALBPL, RLBP1L1.
