CUEDC2
Description
The CUEDC2 (CUE domain containing 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.
CUEDC2 protein downregulates the levels of both ESR1 (estrogen receptor 1) and PGR (progesterone receptor) proteins through the ubiquitination-proteasome pathway. This process is independent of the presence of 17 beta-estradiol for ESR1 and involves a similar mechanism for PGR.
CUEDC2 is also known as C10orf66, bA18I14.5.
