KCNV2

Description

The KCNV2 (potassium voltage-gated channel modifier subfamily V member 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 9.

Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily V member 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the KCNV2 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a voltage-gated potassium channel subunit.

This protein acts as a potassium channel subunit, influencing channel activity by shifting the voltage threshold and half-maximal activation point to more negative values.

KCNV2 is also known as KV11.1, Kv8.2, RCD3B.
