The HOXA4 (homeobox A4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

HOXA4, encoded by the HOXA4 gene, is a transcription factor that belongs to the homeobox gene family. Homeobox genes are crucial for regulating embryonic development and are found in clusters on different chromosomes. HOXA4 is part of the A cluster on chromosome 7. It binds to DNA and regulates gene expression, influencing morphogenesis and cell differentiation.
