Description

The KIF19 (kinesin family member 19) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

KIF19, encoded by the KIF19 gene, is a member of the kinesin family of motor proteins. It plays a role in cancer metastasis, as well as cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions.

KIF19 is also known as KIF19A.
