NARS, or nocturnal alternating rhythm of sleep and arousal, is a rare neurological disorder characterized by recurrent nocturnal transitions between sleep and wakefulness. Individuals with NARS experience multiple episodes of waking up during the night without a clear cause, making it difficult to achieve restful sleep.
