OTX2-AS1

Description

The OTX2-AS1 (OTX2 antisense RNA 1 (head to head)) is a ncRNA gene located on chromosome 14.

OTX2-AS1 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) located on chromosome 14. It is transcribed from the opposite strand of the OTX2 gene, a transcription factor involved in eye and brain development. Studies have shown that OTX2-AS1 is dysregulated in several cancers, including breast cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer, suggesting its potential role in tumorigenesis.

OTX2-AS1 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that has been implicated in a variety of cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. It is believed to function as a regulator of gene expression, possibly by interacting with other RNA molecules or proteins. Studies have shown that OTX2-AS1 is dysregulated in several cancers, suggesting its potential role in tumorigenesis.

OTX2-AS1 is also known as OTX2OS1.
