The PARP8 (poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase family member 8) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 5.

PARP8 is a human gene that encodes for the enzyme Poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase 8.

PARP8 is a mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase enzyme that attaches a single ADP-ribose molecule to target proteins.

PARP8 is also known as ARTD16, pART16.
