Description

The PEX5L (peroxisomal biogenesis factor 5 like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

PEX5L is an accessory subunit of hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) channels, regulating their cell-surface expression and sensitivity to cyclic nucleotides.

PEX5L is also known as PEX5R, PEX5RP, PXR2, PXR2B, TRIP8b.
