The TRIM66 (tripartite motif containing 66) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.
TRIM66 is a gene that encodes a protein called TRIM66. This protein is part of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family and has several domains including a RING finger domain, a B-box type 2 domain, a coiled-coil region, and a C-terminal SPRY domain. TRIM66 is thought to act as a transcription repressor and may play a role in regulating the expression of genes after meiosis.
