TROAP
Description
The TROAP (trophinin associated protein) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.
Trophinin-associated protein is a protein encoded by the TROAP gene in humans. It has been shown to interact with BYSL (bystin). TROAP is located on the UCSC Genome Browser.
This protein may play a role in the initial attachment of a blastocyst to uterine epithelial cells during embryo implantation, potentially by forming a cell adhesion molecule complex with bystin and trophinin.
TROAP is also known as TASTIN.
