DLEU1

Description

The DLEU1 (deleted in lymphocytic leukemia 1) is a ncRNA gene located on chromosome 13.

DLEU1, also known as deleted in lymphocytic leukemia 1 (non-protein coding), is a long non-coding RNA involved in molecular biology. It is located on chromosome 13q14 in humans. DLEU1 was initially identified as a potential tumor suppressor gene, often deleted in B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia patients. Later, it was discovered to be a long non-coding RNA with over 20 distinct splice variants.

May act as a tumor suppressor.

DLEU1 is also known as BCMS, BCMS1, DLB1, DLEU2, LEU1, LEU2, LINC00021, NCRNA00021, XTP6.
