The DPPA4 (developmental pluripotency associated 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.
DPPA4 is believed to be involved in the maintenance of active epigenetic status of target genes. It might also play a role in preventing the differentiation of embryonic cells into the primitive ectoderm lineage.
