FBXO25
Description
The FBXO25 (F-box protein 25) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.
FBXO25 is a component of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, acting as a substrate-recognition component. It may play a role in the accumulation of expanded polyglutamine (polyQ) protein huntingtin (HTT), although this is based on similarity to other proteins.
FBXO25 is also known as FBX25.
