FCRLA
Description
The FCRLA (Fc receptor like A) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.
Fc receptor-like A is a protein encoded by the FCRLA gene in humans. It belongs to the Ig superfamily (IgSF) and is a receptor for the Fc fragment of IgG (IgG Fc), like other Fc receptors (FCGRs). These receptors mediate phagocytosis of IgG-coated pathogens, activate effector cells, and contribute to inflammatory responses and antibody-mediated cellular cytotoxicity. All FCGR genes are located on chromosome 1 in humans.
