Description

The GOLPH3L (golgi phosphoprotein 3 like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

GOLPH3L is a phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate-binding protein that may antagonize the function of GOLPH3, a protein essential for vesicle budding at the Golgi and the subsequent transport of these vesicles to the plasma membrane.

GOLPH3L is also known as GPP34R.
