RASA2

Description

The RASA2 (RAS p21 protein activator 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

RASA2 acts as a brake on the Ras-cyclic AMP signaling pathway, preventing excessive activation. It does this by binding to a molecule called inositol tetrakisphosphate (IP4).

RASA2 is also known as GAP1M.
