RNF207

Description

The RNF207 (ring finger protein 207) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

RNF207 is involved in cardiac repolarization by potentially stabilizing the membrane expression of the potassium channel KCNH2/HERG. It might also assist in the synthesis, folding, or export of KCNH2/HERG from the endoplasmic reticulum, likely with the help of heat shock proteins.

RNF207 is also known as C1orf188.
