Description

The RTP5 (receptor transporter protein 5 (putative)) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

RTP5 is a human gene that encodes for a protein known as Receptor-transporting protein 5. This protein is also referred to as 3CxxC-type zinc finger protein 5 or CXXC-type zinc finger protein 11. The RTP5 gene is responsible for producing this protein, which plays a role in cellular processes.

RTP5 is also known as C2orf85, CXXC11, Z3CXXC5.
