The RYK (receptor like tyrosine kinase) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

RYK or Ryk may refer to:

RYK, along with FZD8, acts as a coreceptor for Wnt proteins, including WNT1, WNT3, WNT3A, and WNT5A. It plays a crucial role in various neuronal processes, including differentiation, axon guidance, corpus callosum formation, and neurite outgrowth. Upon stimulation by WNT3, RYK undergoes cleavage at its C-terminus within the transmembrane region. This cleavage allows the C-terminal intracellular fragment to move from the cytoplasm into the nucleus, where it actively participates in neuronal development.

RYK is also known as D3S3195, JTK5, JTK5A, RYK1.
