Description

The SCRN2 (secernin 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

SCRN2, also known as secernin-2, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SCRN2 gene. It is a component of the secretory pathway and plays a role in the trafficking of proteins through the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi apparatus.

SCRN2 is also known as Ses2.
