Description

The SLC35G1 (solute carrier family 35 member G1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.

SLC35G1 may contribute to sensing and maintaining calcium levels within cells. It potentially acts as a brake on the pumps that expel calcium from the cell, possibly preventing excessive calcium loss.

SLC35G1 is also known as C10orf60, POST, TMEM20.
