Description
The ST20-AS1 (ST20 antisense RNA 1) is a ncRNA gene located on chromosome 15.
ST20-AS1 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) located on chromosome 10. It is transcribed from the opposite strand of the ST20 gene and is approximately 2,000 nucleotides in length. ST20-AS1 has been shown to be involved in a variety of cellular processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and migration. Its expression is dysregulated in a number of cancers, and its levels have been correlated with tumor progression and prognosis. ST20-AS1 may function as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) by acting as a sponge for microRNAs, thereby regulating the expression of target genes. It may also interact with other RNA molecules or proteins to modulate cellular signaling pathways.
