Description

The STOX1 (storkhead box 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.

STOX1 gene encodes a protein in humans that might function as a DNA binding protein. Mutations in this gene are linked to pre-eclampsia/eclampsia 4 (PEE4). Different isoforms of this protein have been found, resulting from alternative splicing of the STOX1 gene.

STOX1 is also known as C10orf24.
