The STPG1 (sperm tail PG-rich repeat containing 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

This protein may contribute to programmed cell death (apoptosis) that is triggered by the presence of O(6)-methylguanine.

STPG1 is also known as C1orf201, MAPO2.
