The VTN (vitronectin) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

Vitronectin is a cell adhesion and spreading factor found in serum and tissues. It interacts with glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans and is recognized by certain integrins, serving as a cell-to-substrate adhesion molecule. Additionally, it inhibits the membrane-damaging effects of the terminal cytolytic complement pathway.

VTN is also known as V75, VN, VNT.
