ZSWIM2


Description

The ZSWIM2 (zinc finger SWIM-type containing 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

ZSWIM2 is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that plays a role in regulating apoptosis triggered by Fas, DR3, and DR4. It works in collaboration with the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes UBE2D1, UBE2D3, and UBE2E1.

ZSWIM2 is also known as MEX, ZZZ2.
